Valentine’s Day Special Chocolate Cake

If you are looking for a recipe to make chocolate cake at home or looking for some handmade delicacies to be gifted to someone special, then this recipe is what you are looking for. This chocolate cake is made without baking soda, cocoa powder, or eno. The brown Ecobake cooking paper is used to make the cake that is non-sticky to the cake tin.

Ingredients

 

  • Chocolate biscuits-100 g+5 no’s
  • Milk-1/2 cup & Milk chocolate-50 g+200 g
  • Fresh cream-1/3 cup & Dark chocolate- 50g
  • 1 teaspoon crushed Green Chilli-Ginger (or paste)
  • Edible Golden sprinkler & Edible gold dust

Directions

 

  • Grind chocolate biscuits into a fine powder and put them in a bowl. Add the milk slowly and mix well. Add the batter to a cake tin lined with ecobake sheets and bake on a stove for 20 minutes on a preheated kadai.
  • Check if the cake has been baked by inserting a toothpick. Let the cake cool for some time. Make ganache by melting milk chocolate, fresh cream, and dark chocolate in a bowl by placing it above a bowl of hot water.
  • Crumble the cake and add it to the bowl of prepared chocolate ganache. Add broken pieces of chocolate biscuits to it too. Keep it aside. Spread the melted 200g milk chocolate into a silicon mold. Keep it for 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Now take it out of the fridge and spread milk chocolate evenly on all sides. Now add the prepared chocolate mixture to each mold and cover them with melted chocolate. Refrigerate it for 20 min.
  • Take it out of the fridge after 20 minutes and demold each chocolate cake. Add the remaining melted chocolate to a bar chocolate mold and refrigerate for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove the chocolate cake from the mold.
  • Cut the cake into the desired sizes. Decorate a few cakes with gold sprinklers. Decorate a few with cut chocolate bars and apply edible gold dust to them. The delicious Valentine's Day chocolate cake is ready.
