Without Fondant Ludo Theme cake

Ludo themed cake without us of fondant. This recipe will help you make the perfect theme cake. Before baking cakes, line the cake tin with Oddy Ecobake for smooth baking and easy removal of baked cakes. Oddy Ecobake is safe, easy and reusable.

Ingredients

 

  • Cake 1: 180 gm vanilla premix, water as required, 2 tbsp oil, 5-6 drops of pineapple emlusion
  • Cake 2: 150 gm vanilla premix, water as required and 1.5 tbsp oil
  • 6 inch cake tin , Oddy Ecobake
  • Whipped cream, Pineapple crush
  • sugar syrup, 2 tsp natural gel
  • N7 nozzle, liquid food color (red, green, white, yellow and blue)

Directions

 

  • In a bowl, take 180 gm vanilla premix, add water, 2 tbsp oil, 5-6 drops of pineapple emlusion. Mix well to form a smooth batter. Take a 6 inch cake tin, line it with Oddy Ecobake.
  • Pour the batter, and spread it unformily. Tap the cake tin and bake it. Take 150 gm vanilla premix, add water and oil. Mix to form a smooth batter.
  • Line the cake tin with Oddy Ecobake, pour batter uniformlily and tap the tin and bake the cake. Now take first cake and cut off the top layer. Cut the cake into three layers.
  • Put some cream on cake board and place one sliced cake layer. Soak it with sugar syrup, add whipped cream and layer it evenly. Add pineapple crush and spread it.
  • Repeat the steps till finally layer. Complete the crumb coating and final frosting. For icing and layers, use cream with help of piping bag. Complete the finishing and make sure the shape and measurement is 6.5X6.5 inches.
  • Keep the cake in fridge to set it. Now take the second cake, remove from tin. Cut it into mall pieces and smash it with hands. Add 2 tbp natural gel and mix well into a soft dough. Take little oil in hands and coat it on the dough to make it non sticky.
  • Keep 1/4 dough aside into a plastic bag for later use. Add white edible color to the 3/4 dough and mix it to form a white dough. Take a plastic, spread little oil on it. Give the dough the shape of a ball and slightly flatne it.
  • Now take the white dough and roll a chapati out of it. Cut a square from the roll taking a measurement of 6.5X6.5. Now take measurements on all four sides of the rolled layer: 2.5 cm, 1.5 cm and 2.5 cm.(2.5 cm for the squares on either sides and 1.5 cm for the pathway of the marbles.)
  • Then fine lines joining all the marked corners. In the 1.5 cm mark 0.5 cm for three pathways. and 0.5 cm for each cube. (5 boxes should be made). Now paint the 4 house boxes and the pathway for marbles white.
  • Now gently and carefully lift and place it on the cake. Now mix the remaining dough and keep a little white dough separate. Divide the dough into 4 parts.
  • Add red, yellow, green and blue liquid colors one at a time to the 4 dough parts. Roll out circle shapes and cut into 2.5 cm square. Next measure 0.5 cm from edges on all sides and cut inside smaller square.
  • In same way, prepare for all colors. cut out small circles, colored pathway, small triangle, marbles and the dice. If colored dough remains, make circles and place on the sides. With N7 nozzle, make border on the base of the cake.
