Chocolate Ice Cream Cake Roll

Ice Cream Chocolate Cake Roll is a nice dessert ice cream plus cake option. It is super easy to make and is a favorite of kids and older people. Give it a try. While baking or freezing food items, we often use regular paper which is not healthy and also damages the shape. Brown Oddy Ecobake paper can be used for freezing things in the fridge. It is safe and convenient to use.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup chocolate cake premix, 1/2 cup water, 1.5 tsp oil.
  • One bowl of chocolate ice cream & chocochips (optional crushed oreo)
  • OHP sheet & cling wrap
  • Chocolate ganashe and chocolate shavings for garnishing.

Directions

 

  • In a bowl, take 1 cup chocolate cake premix, 1/2 cup water, 1.5 tsp oil. Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Next, in a 10 inches flat tray, line it with Brown Oddy Ecobake papers. It is easy to remove after baking. Pour the chocolate batter and spread it evenly giving it a thin layer. Bake the batter at 180 degrees for 15 to 20 mins.
  • In another bowl, take chocolate ice cream, add few chocochips. You can also add crushed oreo biscuits. or even just use plain chocolate ice cream.
  • Now take a OHP sheet, and cut it out and give it a cylindrical shape by sticking the sides by a sticking tape. New using a cling wrap, cover one side of the OHP cylinder to give it a close based so that there is no spillage.
  • Then fill the OHP cylinder with the chocolate ice cream, and cover the top part again with cling wrap and seal it completely. Now refrigerate this for min 7 to 8 hours.
  • Now take the baked chocolate sheet, and place it in Brown Oddy Ecobake paper. Place it upside down. Apply chocolate ganashe on the chocolate sheet, and then remove chocolate ice cream from the OHP cylinder and gently place it on the chocolate sheet.
  • Then roll the whole Brown Oddy Ecobake paper along with the chocolate baked layer and the chocolate ice cream. Pack and seal the open edges well. Refrigerate it for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Remove from fridge after 2 hours and garnish with chocolate ganashe and crapped chocolate shavings. The mouthwatering chocolate Ice Cream Cake Roll is ready to be served.
