Chocolate Truffle Cake

Any chocolate lover’s craving will be satisfied by Chocolate Truffle Cake. It’s simple, consisting of chocolate, heavy cream, and butter. It’s chocolate heaven right there.

  • 1/3 Cup sugar powder
  • 1/3 Cup fresh curd
  • 3 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 Tsp vanilla essence
  • 3/4 Cup wheat flour
  • 1.5 Tbsp milk powder
  • 2 Tbsp cooca powder
  • 1/2 Tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 Tsp baking soda
  • 1/3 Cup milk
  • 250 gm dark chocolate
  • 1/3 Cup fresh cream
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1.5 Tbsp sugar powder
  • Fresh cherry


  • Line the cake tin mould with Brown Oddy Ecobake.
  • Mix and whisk sugar powder, fresh curd, melted butter, and vanilla essence.
  • Add wheat flour, milk powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda through the sieve into the prepared batter.
  • Add milk and mix it well, transfer the smooth batter into a lined cake tin mould.
  • Place mould for baking over 35mins.
  • Melt dark chocolate and fresh cream and add butter mix it well for chocolate ganache.
  • Demould the cake and trim into three different layers.
  • Add sugar powder, and water to a bowl and mix it well. Apply sugar syrup to the sponge and spread the chocolate ganache uniformly.
  • Melt chocolate ganache and add fresh cream. Pour on top of the cake and spread it uniformly.
  • Pour melted chocolate on Oddy Ecobake, spread it to make thin layers and allow it to cool and set.
  • Make circular cuts and garnish with chocolate on top the cake.
  • Soft chocolate truffle cake is ready to serve.
