Chocolate Vadi

About the Recipe

A crunchy and delicious nutty bar with all time super classic chocolate added in it. This chocolate vadi is going to take very less time to make. But is full of fun and taste that you will forget all the nutty bars at the store. Use Oddy Ecobake to set the vadi and make perfect shapes. Oddy ecobake is grease-proof and eco-friendly.

  • Oddy Ecobake
  • Roasted Peanuts ½ cup
  • White sesame seeds ½ cup
  • Jaggery ½ cup
  • Ghee 1 tsp (as required)
  • Dark compound chocolate 60-70 gms



  • Dry roast white sesame seeds for 4-5 mins in low flame. It should start spluttering and the color should turn into light brown. Transfer in a plate.
  • Transfer the sesame seeds in a mixer and make a fine powder. Add roasted peanuts in the mixer. Make sure the skin of the peanuts are removed. Make a fine powder. Add jaggery and again pulse it to form a fine paste. Transfer in a plate. Add ghee and mix well.
  • Line a baking tin with Oddy Ecobake. Add the Vadi mixture and press it to set the mixture. With the help of a flat bowl, keep pressing to set the vadi.
  • Melt the chocolate with double boiling method. Let the chocolate cool down to room temperature. Pour the chocolate on to of the mixture and spread it evenly with the help of a spoon. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  • You can let it set in room temperature or else keep it in refrigerator for 1 hour to set it. Cut the sides with a knife and then make equal squares. Our chocolate vadi is ready.
