Dry Fruit Pak

About the Recipe

Dry fruit pak is a delicious and healthy sweet made from dry fruits, ghee, and jaggery. This is specially made during the winter. Oddy Ecobake allows you to set the dried fruit cake or sweet without having to grease the mold. Hence, there is no need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • Almond 1/2 cup or 80 g
  • Cashewnuts 1/2 cup or 80 g
  • Dry grapes 1/2 cup or 8o g
  • Gundar { babul gond } 1/3 cup or 100 g
  • Jaggery 300 grams or 2 cup
  • Dry coconut 1+1/2 cup or 150 g
  • Pumpkin seeds 1/2 cup or 89 g
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of ghee and roast the gundar in it. Transfer the roasted gundar onto a plate. Add 2 tablespoons of ghee to the pan and roast the dry fruits, grated coconut, and poppy seeds in it.
  • Transfer the dry fruit mixture to another plate. Mix the crushed gundar with the dry fruit mixture. Melt jaggery in a pan with some water. Once the jaggery syrup starts boiling, add the dry fruit and gundar mixture to it and mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Spread the mixture and let it set by allowing it to rest for 10 to 15 minutes. As shown, cut it into individual dry fruit pak pieces.
