Easy Coffee pastry

About the Recipe

If you are looking for a quick pastry that you can relish along with our coffee in the evening, then make this coffee pastry with only a few ingredients. It tastes amazing with hot coffee or tea. We have used Oddy Ecobake, which is convenient and cuts down on the effort of cleaning the baking tray after baking the cake.

Ingredients

 

  • Instant Coffee powder- 1 tbsp & Milk - ½ cup
  • Eggs-6 & Powdered sugar- 2 cups
  • Maida-2 cup & Baking powder-1 tsp
  • Baking soda-1/2 tsp & Oil-1/4 cup
  • Coffee syrup: Instant coffee+ milk + sugar & Whipping cream
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Line a baking tray with Oddy Ecobake. Add coffee powder to hot milk and stir well. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Add powdered sugar to it.
  • Sift the dry ingredients in a bowl, mix, and add them to the wet ingredients. Beat it well. Add oil and beat again to form a smooth batter. Mix with a spatula.
  • Pour the batter into the baking tray and tap well. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 10 minutes. Bake the cake for 30 minutes. The cake will be completely baked after 30 minutes.
  • After some time, demold it carefully. Make holes in the cake using a fork so that the coffee syrup gets absorbed easily inside. Pour the coffee syrup on the cake.
  • Apply cold whipping cream to the cake and make patterns as shown using a cake comb. Dust coffee powder all over the cake. Cut into the desired size. Serve with hot coffee or tea.
