Eggless chocolate swiss roll- Without Beater, Mould,Oven/Cooker

Ingredients

 

  • 1/4 cup sugar powder
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Curd
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/4 Tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 Tsp baking soda
  • 1/3 Cup milk
  • Dark chocolate
  • 1/4 Cup hot whip cream
  • 1/3 Cup whip cream
  • chocolate curls
  • golden sugar

Directions

 

  • In a bowl, take sugar, oil and fresh curd in mentioned quantities. Whisk them together till smooth.
  • Put a strainer over the above bowl containing liquid ingredients and sieve refined flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda in it. Mix well using a whisker.
  • Gradually add milk to the batter. Whisk till it becomes smooth and shiny.
  • Brush oil on pan. Pour half of the batter in a pan. Spread uniformly. Cover and bake at low flame for 10 minute. Use a toothpick to test if the sponge is fully baked. When it is cooked, take it out of the pan and place it on Oddy Ecobake.
  • In a separate bowl, take dark chocolate and add hot whipped cream to it. Mix them smooth to get chocolate ganache.
  • In another huge bowl, whisk whipped cream till its smooth, fluffy and light. To this, add 2 Tbsp of the prepared chocolate ganache. Mix these well for a rich chocolate frosting.
  • Apply this chocolate frosting on the prepared sponge and spread evenly using a spatula or a butter knife.Now, using Oddy Ecobake, roll the sponge carefully into a cylindrical shaped roll with chocolate filling inside it.
  • Refrigerate this roll for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, take it out and place it on a steel rack. Pour the leftover chocolate ganache on it.
  • Now cut the swiss roll in fine pieces. Garnish them with chocolate frosting and golden sugar. Finish it with chocolate curls on top. Your yumilicious super chocolaty swiss roll is ready to be served.
