Eggless Millet Brownie

If you love chocolate brownies and care about your health, then this recipe is just the right one for you. This is perhaps one of the most healthy chocolate brownie recipe which has no sugar, Chocolate Compound or even Maida. You can use Oddy Ecobake for convenient and hassle-free baking.

  • Measuring cup- 240ml
  • Cake tin- 8"x8" square cake tin
  • Ragi or finger millet flour - 1 cup
  • Dark cocoa powder- 4 tbsp
  • Jaggery powder- 3/4 cup
  • Melted butter- 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence- 1/2 tsp
  • Warm Milk- 1/2 cup
  • Chopped walnuts- 1/4 cup+2-3 tbsp
  • Oddy Ecobake



  • In a mixing bowl, take melted butter, jaggery powder, warm milk and beat all of this well till the jaggery dissolves.
  • Now sieve the dry ingredients- ragi flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Then add vanilla essence and mix everything well.
  • Using the cut and fold method, mix the batter properly. Beat this well to make a smooth batter. Add chopped walnuts to the batter.
  • Line the baking tin with Oddy Ecobake and transfer the batter into it. Tap it and then put some chopped walnuts on top of the batter.
  • Bake the brownies in a preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Demould the batter once it is done and cut it into smaller pieces. Your delicious millet brownie is ready to eat!
