Healthy Chicken Pizza from Scratch

About the Recipe

Make a cheese-topped chicken pizza with mild Indian masalas and Italian herbs. In order to make it at home, chicken pieces are marinated in masala before being fried and cooked in a pan. Oddy Ecobake is used to line the pizza pan to make a crispy, non-stick pizza. If you wish to bake things in batches, Oddy Ecobake can be used more than once.

Ingredients

 

  • Flour - 3 cups & Yeast - 2.5 tbsp
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp & Milk powder - 3 tbsp
  • Salt as needed, Warm water & Olive oil
  • Tomatoes - 4 & Boneless chicken
  • Ginger-garlic paste & Chicken 65 masala - 1.5 tsp
  • Salt as needed, Garlic cloves & Chilli powder
  • Tomato sauce, Chilli flakes & Oregano
  • Butter, Mozarella cheese & Oddy Ecobake
  • Chopped tomatoes, onions & capsicum

Directions

 

  • Prepare the dough by mixing flour with salt, yeast, sugar, oil, and water. Let it rest for an hour. Boil the tomatoes in water for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Peel the skin and grind it into a smooth paste. Heat oil in a pan; add garlic cloves and tomato paste to it. Add chilli powder, salt, chilli flakes, tomato sauce, and oregano to it.
  • Cook until the mixture becomes a thick paste. Divide the dough into two parts and flatten them into thick chapatis as shown. Poke holes in the flattened dough with a fork.
  • Apply the pizza sauce and add grated cheese on top of it. Add tomatoes, onions, and capsicum on top of it. Garnish the pizza with grated cheese, chilli flakes, and oregano.
  • Cook the pizza for 15 minutes in a pan lined with Oddy Ecobake by placing it on a tawa as shown. Once the pizza is ready, cut it and serve!
