Healthy Ragi Cake

About the Recipe

Do try this ragi cake that is both healthy and tasty. This cake requires no special ingredients and is sure to please children. Oddy Ecobake allows you to bake the ragi cake in a perfect shape without greasing the mold, and it also makes demolding easy.

Ingredients

 

  • One cup ragi flour & ½ cup wheat flour
  • ¾ cup jaggery power & three eggs
  • 1 tea spoon vanilla essence & 50 grams of butter
  • 1 tsp of baking power & ½ tsp of baking soda,
  • 1/4 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste & 1/4 tsp eno
  • 50 ml full fat milk & Oddy Ecobake.

Directions

 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 12 cups of wheat flour and 1 cup of ragi, stirring well to ensure that air circulates throughout the mixture.
  • Now blend the butter and jaggery powder well in a blending jar. Add three eggs and vanilla essence to the wet mixture and blend once more.
  • Now add baking powder and baking soda to the flour and ragi mixture and stir well. Now add the blended mixture and milk to the dry mixture and mix well, making sure the mixture is smooth.
  • Now set the Oddy baking paper in a baking tin and pour the cake mixture; bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes. The ragi cake is ready.
