Healthy Wheat Uttapam in 5 mins

About the Recipe

A healthy veggie uttapam recipe for breakfast. Made with whole wheat flour, healthier, and tastier, and can be made in a few minutes. Oddy Uniwraps Paper foil helps in keeping uttapam fresh for a longer duration.

Ingredients

 

  • 2 cups of whole wheat flour
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp carom seeds crushed
  • ¼ tsp jeera
  • salt as required
  • Water as required
  • 1 big onion chopped
  • 2 capsicums chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 2-3 green chillies chopped finely
  • Freshly chopped coriander leaves
  • Oil 2-3 tsp

Directions

 

  • Make a batter by adding wheat flour, turmeric powder, carom seeds, jeera salt and water. The batter should not be too thick or too runny.
  • Add oil in a pan. Keep the flame high. Add onions, capsicum, tomato, chillies. Fry it for some time, till its translucent.
  • Add it to our pre-made batter. Add some coriander leaves. Mix the batter.
  • Add oil on the frying pan, once hot add a big spoonful of the batter and spread it evenly. Cook for 2-3 mins and flip to the other side.
  • Our delicious uttapam is ready. Pack uttapam in Oddy Uniwraps paper foil for keeping it hot and fresh.
