Healthy Whole Wheat Buns Without Egg

About the Recipe

Typically, maida, which will make buns fluffy and soft but not nutritious, is used in their preparation. Eggs are not necessary to prepare whole wheat buns, which are delicious and nutritious. With the aid of Ecobake, perfect buns can be obtained without the need for greasiness or additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • 3 cups Wheat Flour & 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Warm Water, 2 tbsp Sugar & 2 tsp Dry Yeast
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 3 tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Directions

 

  • Activate yeast by mixing sugar and yeast in hot water and letting the mixture sit for 5 minutes.
  • Put wheat flour in a bowl, add salt and mix well. To make the dough, combine yeast water, milk, and melted butter. Knead the dough for 10 to 15 minutes. Let it rise for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Split the dough into small portions and roll them into balls. Place the balls on a tray lined with Ecobake parchment paper, cover them, and let them double in size.
  • Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 200 deg C. Brush the top of the buns with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake them in a preheated oven for 15 to 17 minutes.
  • Remove the tray from the oven and brush it with butter. Cool the buns for 10 minutes and serve.
