Ingredients

  • 2 tsp sugar, 1 tsp yeast & ½ cup lukewarm water
  • 2 cup maida, Salt to taste & 1 tbsp oil/butter
  • Lukewarm water as required
  • 2 tbsp olive oil & 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder & 4 tomatoes
  • 1 tsp oregano & 1 tbsp red chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce & Cheese – 200 gm
  • Corn, Paneer, Capsicum, Tomatoes & Olives For Toppings

Directions

  • Activate the yeast by adding sugar and yeast to lukewarm water. Let the yeast rest for 10 to 15 minutes to get activated. Once the yeast is activated, add the maida, salt, and butter and mix well to prepare the pizza dough. Cover and rest the dough for 1 hour for it to double in size.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the pizza sauce by heating oil in a pan, adding Italian seasoning, Kashmiri chilli powder, tomato puree, and oregano. When the oil starts to leave the sides, add the red chilli sauce and tomato sauce to the pan. Once the mixture turns into a thick paste, switch off the stove and transfer it into a glass jar.
  • Once the dough doubles in size, give it a punch, and divide it into two portions. Since we are going to use a 9-inch pan and a 12-inch baking tray, divide the dough accordingly.
  • Flatten the dough on a surface by dusting with some flour till it reaches the desired thickness. Cover it and rest for 10 minutes. Take a baking tray and deflate the air bubbles with a fork. Line the tray with an Ecobake cooking paper circle and place the base on it.
  • Bake the pizza base in a preheated oven for 10 minutes so that it gets cooked only up to 80 to 90%. Take the base out, add cheese and toppings of your choice, and wrap it with plastic film. You can freeze this pizza in a refrigerator for about a month. It will take only 10 minutes to bake this frozen pizza.
