Melting Cheese Paratha

About the Recipe

Cheese paratha is a delicious whole wheat unleavened flatbread stuffed with a cheesy savoury stuffing made with cheddar cheese, onions, green chilies and black pepper. These cheese flatbreads make for a wholesome breakfast or brunch. Try this homemade cheese paratha recipe using Ecobake cooking paper circles.

Ingredients

 

  • Any kind of Cheese
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • Chopped Coriander
  • Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Ghee or refined oil - 2 tsp
  • Wheat flour - ½ bowl

Directions

 

  • First, take ½ bowl of wheat flour and add salt to it.
  • Now add oil to the flour. Add water and prepare the dough. Keep the dough aside.
  • Grate the cheese one by one. Add a pinch of wheat flour to the cheese and mix it well.
  • Add chopped coriander and 1 tsp of black pepper powder to the cheese mixture.
  • Pinch one small ball from the dough. Flatten them and dust them with whole wheat flour.
  • Place a portion of cheese mixture in the centre of the dough and bring the sides up.
  • Dip this ball in flour and roll it into a paratha.
  • Using Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper circles, the cheese won’t stick to the pan. You can cook cheese paratha easily without oil or butter.
  • Place cheese paratha on a sheet of cooking paper circle on pan/tawa and cook it on slow to medium flame.
  • Put ghee/oil on both sides of the paratha and cook it well on both sides.
  • Your delicious cheesy paratha is ready to be served.
