Most Delicious Chocolate Truffle Cake

About the Recipe

This recipe shows how to make a chocolate truffle cake that is rich in taste. The name “truffle” came from the chocolate balls’ strong physical resemblance to the valuable truffle fungus once he had covered his invention in cocoa powder. This cake is made from chocolate, heavy cream, and butter. Use Brown Oddy Ecobake which can be reusable and non-sticky  to bake a spongy and smooth cake.

Ingredients

 

  • Curd - 1/2 Cup (100 gm) & Veg Oil - 1/2 Cup (120 ml)
  • Powdered Sugar - 2/3 Cup (45 gm) & Milk - 1 Cup (240 ml)
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 Tsp & Instant Coffee Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Chopped Dark Chocolate - 200 gm & Chopped Milk Chocolate - 200 gm
  • Butter - 2 Tsp, Fresh Cream - 200 ml & Chilled Whipping Cream - 1 Cup
  • Whipped Ganache - 2 Tbsp & All-Purpose Flour - 1.5 Cup (200 gm)
  • Cocoa Powder - 2 Tbsp, Baking Powder - 1 Tsp & Baking Soda - 1/2 Tsp
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Oddy Ecobake Brown

Directions

 

  • In a bowl, add the curd, vegetable oil, and powdered sugar and beat well. Add milk, vanilla essence, and instant coffee powder to it and mix well; cut and fold. Line a 6-inch baking tin with Oddy Ecobake Brown. Preheat a kadai for 10 minutes on a low flame.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes on a low flame. After baking, allow it to cool completely. Now add the chopped milk chocolate, dark chocolate, milk compound, and fresh cream to a bowl and mix well.
  • Melt them using the double boiler method. Refrigerate this ganache for 30 minutes. Cut the cake into three layers. Beat the chilled ganache for 2–3 minutes. Place a layer of cake on a cake board, apply sugar syrup, and spread whipped ganache.
  • Sprinkle with a few chocolate chips. Repeat the process for all three layers. Frost the cake with cream all over. Smooth edges with a palette knife. Pour and cover the top with the melted ganache. Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top of the cake.
  • Beat chilled whipping cream in a bowl, adding chocolate ganache. Decorate with whipping cream and chocolate bars as desired. The spongy and yummy chocolate truffle cake is ready.
