New Cake Decoration Trick With Paper Cups

Try this new cake decoration trick with paper cups. With this technique, you can make a bakery-style cake at home. Ecobake helps in getting the perfect shape for your cake without any greasing, and there is no need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • Maida – ¾ cup, Milk powder – 2 tbsp & Sugar – 1/3rd cup
  • Baking powder – ½ tsp & Baking soda – ¼ tsp
  • Butter Milk – ¾ cup & Vanilla Essence – ½ tsp
  • Maida – 1.5 tbsp, Water – 10 tbsp & Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Green food gel – 2 drops & Blue food gel – 2 drops
  • Red food gel – 2 drops & Golden balls

Directions

 

  • Prepare the cake batter by mixing the dry ingredients and wet ingredients together. Transfer the cake batter into a mould lined with Ecobake cooking paper. Preheat the oven for 10 minutes and bake the cake for 30 minutes at 160 °C.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, divide it into 3 equal parts to frost the cake. Once the cake is completely frosted with the whipping cream, take 2 paper cups. Make holes by inserting the skewers into the paper cup at equal intervals as shown.
  • Prepare ganache by mixing and cooking sugar, maida, milk powder, water, and butter in a pan. Add two drops of blue gel and two drops of green gel into the ganache and mix randomly.
  • Take another paper cup to fill with this ganache. Place the paper cup with holes over the centre of the cake. Then pour the ganache from the second cup into the first cup gradually and let it spread all over the cake placed on a plate.
  • Now take the remaining ganache and add 2 drops of pink gel to it and mix well.Pour this ganache over the cake through the first paper cup at the centre. Decorate the cake with golden balls and whipped cream and remove the cake from the plate using a knife.
