No Oven Cream Rolls

Will you believe if someone says that you can make roll puffs at home? Yes! you can. This recipe shows you how to make roll puffs filled with cream in the center. This is a perfect snack that can be served to your guests. Oddy Ecobake, which is very convenient and healthy to use, is used to make a perfect mould to bake the puff rolls.

  • All- purpose flour – 1 cup & Butter- 100 g
  • Salt -1/2 tsp & Water-1/3 cup
  • Cold butter-150 g & Whipping cream-1/3 cup
  • Aluminum foil & Piping bag
  • Oddy Ecobake



  • Add salt to the water and mix well. Take all-purpose flour and cold butter in a bowl and mix well using a spoon. Do not use your hands to mix, since butter will melt. Add the salt water to it and mix well to make a dough.
  • Place the dough on a plastic wrap sheet, cover, and roll into a square shape. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Remove the wrap after 30 minutes and roll it flat. Fold all sides, dust with all-purpose flour, and roll again to form a thick layer. Dust all-purpose flour, fold again, and roll. Cover in plastic wrap and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
  • Take an aluminum foil sheet and roll as shown. Use Oddy Ecobake to cover the foil; roll and tuck both ends; we are going to use this as our mould. Take the rolled dough from the fridge and roll into a thin layer. Fold, dust all-purpose flour, and roll into a thin layer.
  • Cut a portion and keep it aside to use later. Roll one portion into a very thin layer. Cut into small strips. Wrap the strips around the mould as shown. Place on a baking plate; brush milk on all sides.
  • Preheat the pan for 5 minutes. Place the rolled strips in the pan, cover, and bake for the first 20 minutes on a low flame. Roll and bake for another 10 minutes. Remove the lid after 30 minutes and cool completely.
  • Take whipping cream in a bowl and whisk till fluffy. Take the baked puff rolls from the mould and fill in the cream in the centre as shown. The crispy, flaky, and perfect cream rolls are ready.
