Ingredients

 

  • Shallots- 1 cup & Dates- 1/4 cup
  • Thick coconut milk- 1/2 cup & Oddy Uniwraps
  • Ajwain-1/4 to 1/2 tsp & Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
  • Cardamom- 4 & organic jaggery powder- 1/4 cup
  • Ghee- 1-2 tbsp

Directions

 

  • In a cooker, add shallots and dates followed by coconut milk. Cook it on medium flame for 4 whistles. Keep it aside.
  • In a pan, add in ajwain and cumin seeds and roast it for sometime. Then grind it after adding cardamom and jaggery powder.
  • Once done, add the prepared shallots and date mixture. Grind this again. Take a pan, add ghee and grinded paste to it. Cook on low flame till colour changes.
  • Turn off the flame and let it cool down. Pack it using Oddy Uniwraps as shown and store it for longer.
