Sarvapindi for Breakfast or Snacks

About the Recipe

Today we are going to learn a simple alternative to regular idlis or dosas. You can make three varieties with a single flour called sarvapindi. The primary ingredient in sarvapindi is rice flour. Oddy Ecobake helps you flatten the sarvapindi dough without oil or the need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • Rice flour - 3 cups & Salt - 1.5 tsp
  • Green chillies - 10 & Ginger (1 inch) - 4 to 5 pieces
  • Chopped onions, Garlic - 10 pods & Oil
  • Cumin seeds, White sesame seeds & Water as needed

Directions

 

  • Grind green chillies, ginger, and garlic pods in a mixer jar to a fine paste.
  • Add rice flour, sesame seeds, ginger-green chilli mixture, cumin seeds, and salt to a bowl and mix together.
  • Add chopped onions and mix with water to prepare the dough. You can make sarvapindi by spreading the dough on a pan as shown.
  • You can also make roti or a fried snack by flattening the dough on the Oddy Ecobake.
