Overloaded Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

 

  • Chocolate cake premix - 360 gm, Oil - 4 tbsp & Water - 250 ml
  • Chopped dark chocolate - 150 gm
  • Edible gold dust - 1/4 tsp & Oil - few drops
  • Chocolates and cookies of your choice
  • Golden sugar balls & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Take the chocolate cake premix, water, and oil in a bowl and whisk well to make a smooth batter. Line a 6-inch cake mould with Oddy Ecobake. Pour the batter into the cake mould and tap well.Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
  • Bake the cake for 35–40 minutes. Let it cool, then cut it into three layers. Prepare chocolate ganache by melting chopped dark chocolate compound in a pan. Add whipping cream to a bowl and beat until you get stiff peaks.
  • Add chocolate ganache to it and beat again. Place a layer of cake on the cake board, moisten with sugar syrup, and apply whipping cream. Repeat the process for the remaining layers. Frost the cake with whipping cream and chocolate cream as shown, and even the surface using a scraper.
  • Apply edible gold paint to the borders of the chocolate cream frosting. Decorate the cake with golden sugar balls on the white frosting part. Sprinkle the gold piant with your fingers. Garnish the cake with chocolates and cookies of your choice. Your chocolate overload cake is ready!
