  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric

Directions

  • In a bowl add all-purpose flour, wheat flour, salt, 2 tsp oil, milk and water to make a smooth dough like we do for chapati. Let it rest for some time.
  • In a hot pan, roast sesame seeds till golden brown, let it cool down and grind into a fine powder. In a mixer add green chillies, garlic, ginger and coriander leaves and grind it to form green chilly paste.
  • In a hot tava add oil, mustard seeds, jeera, green chilly paste, salt, boiled potatoes and sesame powder and mix well. Remove from heat and let it cool down.
  • Now take the dough and make the shape of bowl and add our aloo mixture. Seal the paratha well and roll it with a rolling pin. Make sure your paratha is thick and not thin like chapatis.
  • In hot tawa, cook the paratha, add sesame seeds on top for crunchy taste. Add oil or ghee on both sides and cook well. Once done remove from heat and serve with curd sprinkled with pepper and chilli powder.
  • Use Oddy Uniwraps to store the parathas, Oddy Uniwraps can also be used to pack the parathas and for office or school. The parathas stay fresh and hot all long.
