About the Recipe

Start your day with this red rice puttu for your breakfast. This will taste amazing with grated coconut, ghee, and jaggery or palm sugar. Brown Oddy Ecobake makes it possible to steam the puttu without using a wet cloth. There is no need for additional cleanup when you use Brown Oddy Ecobake.

Ingredients

 

  • Red rice flour
  • Water
  • Grated coconut
  • Palm sugar
  • Brown Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Mix red rice puttu flour with a little water and let it rest for a while.
  • Transfer it to a perforated vessel lined with Brown Oddy Ecobake.
  • In a vessel filled with boiling water, steam the puttu flour.
  • Once the puttu is cooked well, transfer it to a plate.
  • Add grated coconut, ghee, and jaggery to the puttu, mix well, and enjoy!
