Red Velvet Music Theme Cake

About the Recipe

Today we are going to learn how to make 3 kg of red velvet cake. This cake is going to be based on a music theme. Oddy Ecobake Non-stick Liners of 4 inches, 6 inches, and 9 inches are used to bake this 3-tier cake in the desired shape and easily demold it.

Ingredients

 

  • Red velvet cake premix - 8 cups & Oil - 8 tbsp
  • Water, Cheese spread - 300 gm & Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Whipping cream - 1 litre, White chocolate
  • Dark chocolate, Golden sugar balls & Golden dust
  • Red food gel & Oddy Ecobake Non-stick Liners

Directions

 

  • Prepare the cake batter by mixing the red velvet cake premix with water and oil. Transfer the cake batter to cake moulds measuring 4 inches, 6 inches, and 9 inches lined with Oddy Ecobake Non-stick Liners.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, divide it into three equal parts. Meanwhile, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating whipped cream and cream cheese together until stiff peaks form.
  • Place the first layer on the cake board and soak it with sugar syrup. Apply whipped cream and garnish with grated white chocolate. Similarly, frost the other two cake layers and level them with a spatula.
  • Frost the cake completely with whipped cream and make a spiral design on the top of it with a cake comb. Finish frosting the other two cakes as described.
  • Arrange the cakes in tiers as shown with the help of dowels. As shown, make piano keys out of melted dark chocolate. Arrange them on the 9-inch cake.
  • Make musical waves with melted chocolate on the 6" and 4" cakes. Make microphones and pianos with melted dark chocolate and white chocolate, and decorate them on the cakes.
  • Make a shell design on the borders of each cake with red cream. Place a Happy Birthday tag at the top of the cake, and your beautiful music-themed cake is ready!
