Soya Chaap

A crispy and delicious snack for evenings. Made with simple ingredients and fried till perfection. Soya chaaps are the best version for vegetarian crispy. Oddy Uniwraps removes the excess oil and keeps the Soya chaaps fresh for hours.

Ingredients

 

  • Frozen chaap 4
  • 2 big spoons curd
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/4th tsp
  • Chilli powder 1 tsp + 1/4th tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Tandoori masala 1 tsp
  • Garam masala ½ tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Kasuri methi ½ tsp
  • All-purpose flour 3 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste ½ tsp
  • Corn flakes 1 cup

Directions

 

  • Boil frozen chaaps for 5-6 mins. Remove chaps and keep aside for it to cool. Once cooled remove the stick slowly. And cut each chaap vertically into two pieces.
  • In a bowl add curd, corn flour, turmeric chilli powder, chaat masala, tandoori masala, garam masala, salt, kasuri methi and mix well to form a paste. Now add chaps in the masala chaps. Let it marinate for half an hour.
  • In a separate bowl add all purpose flour, corn flour, chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and add water to form a semi-thick batter.
  • Take corn flakes in a plate and crush it with hands to form corn flakes granules. Now dip the chaps in batter and then coat it with corn flakes.
  • Deep fry in hot oil and keep the fried soya chaaps in a plate lined with oddy uniwraps. Oddy uniwraps is non-sticky, grease- proof and eco- friendly and hence removes the excess oil from fired chaaps.
  • Oddy uniwraps is reusable and hence can be sued more than once. Serve fresh with sauce and green chutney.
