Tempting Mawa Cake

Ingredients

 

  • 100 gram Mava & 100 gram Milk 100
  • 150 gram Sugar & 75 gram Butter
  • 150 gram Maida & 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda & 1/2 tsp Mawa Essence
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder & Dry fruits For Decoration

Directions

 

  • In a pan take 100 grams unsweetend mava. Now warm up the mawa with a spatula on a very low flame fo 2-3 mins.
  • Then in the same pan add 100 grams milk, give a slight mix and then add 75 grams butter and 250 grams sugar. Now keep on stirring on a low flame till all the ingredients get nicely mixed together.
  • Now in a sieve, take 250 grams maida, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda. Now seieve all the three dry ingredients together.
  • Now once the cooked pan mixture is cooled till room temperature, add it to the maida mixture. Give it a nice thorough mix.
  • In that mixture add 1/2 tsp mawa essence and 1 tsp elaichi powder. Now in a baking tray line it with Oddy Ecobake paper and pour the cake batter in it.
  • Garnish with sliced dry fruits and bake it at 180 degrees for 35-40 mins.
