The Easiest Chocolate Cake with a Cavity

About the Recipe

This chocolate cake is rich and moist in nature. It’s highly delicious and does not need any frosting most of the time. Oddy Ecobake helps you bake the cake in perfect shape without getting stuck in the mold. It also aids in easy demolding of the cake.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup sugar & 1/2 Cup butter milk
  • 1/2 Tsp Vanilla essence & 1 Tbsp oil
  • 1/2 Cup all purpose flour & 1.5 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 Tsp baking powder & 1/8 Tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 Cup whip cream & chocolate ganache
  • 2 Tbsp sugar & 1 Tbsp corn flour
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder & 1/4 Cup dark chocolate
  • 1/2 Cup milk & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

  • Mix the wet ingredients and dry ingredients together to prepare the cake batter. Transfer the cake batter to a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake.
  • Preheat a vessel with a wire stand in it for 5 minutes. Place the cake mould on the wire stand and close the lid. Bake the cake for 30 minutes. Once the cake is baked and cooled, demold it.
  • Make a cavity in the centre of the cake with a steel tumbler. Cut 1/3rd of the sliced cake and place it in the centre. To prepare chocolate pudding, add sugar, corn flour, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, and milk to a pan.
  • Cook until everything comes together. Stir and cook until the mixture thickens. Pour the chocolate pudding in the cavity while it's still hot. Decorate the cake with chocolate frosting as shown.
