Ingredients
- All purpose flour or maida- 1 and 1/4 cup
- Refined oil- 1/3 cup & Milk- 1/4 cup +3 tbsp
- Powdered sugar-1 cup & Baking powder- 1 and 1/4 tsp
- Baking soda- 1/4 tsp & Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
- Curd - 1/2 cup
- Choco chips - 1/4 cup
- Chilled cream - 1.5 Cup
- Green, Pink, Red and Chocolate Brown gel color - 2 to 3 drops
Directions
- Mix the wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately to prepare the cake batter. Take a 6 inch cake tin and line it with Oddy Ecobake baking paper.
- Transfer the batter to the tin and pre-heat the oven or stove. Bake the cake for 35 to 40 minutes and transfer it to a cake board when it has completely cooled down.
- To prepare the frosting, whip the cream until it's frothy. Apply the frosting to the cake on all sides and smooth the cake with a spatula.
- In a bowl, take 3 tbsp cream and a few drops of chocolate brown food colour gel and mix well. Transfer the cream into a piping bag with a Noor 34 nozzle or basket nozzle.
- Decorate the cake like a flower basket, repeating horizontal and vertical patterns on the sides of the cake. Mix a few drops of green food gel into 3 tbsp of cream and transfer it into a piping bag.
- Insert 6 toothpicks into the mouth of the piping bag and remove it. Create a grassy pattern with the holes made in the piping bag. Take the No. 125 nozzle and pink cream to create roses on the flower nail. Make 3 pink roses and 4 red roses.
- You can also arrange them on the cake and make leaves for an extra attraction. As shown, make the edges with brown coloured cream and the cake is ready.
