Trending Chocolate Cake Recipe Without Eggs

Ingredients

 

  • 400 gm Chocolate premix & Oil – 4 tbsp
  • Water – 1 cup + 1 to 2 tbsp
  • Chopped chocolate – 1 cup & Milk – 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp
  • Butter – 1 tbsp & Chilled whipping cream – 2 cups
  • Sugar syrup & Chocolate food gel colour

Directions

 

  • Prepare the cake batter by mixing the chocolate premix, oil, and water in the mentioned quantities. Transfer the cake batter into a mould lined with brown Ecobake cooking paper. Bake the cake for 40 to 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 160 °C.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, divide it into three equal parts. Prepare the chocolate ganache by melting chopped chocolate, milk, and butter in a pan. Mix half the ganache with some portions of whipped cream to prepare the chocolate cream.
  • Place the first layer of cake on the cake board, soak it with sugar syrup, and start applying chocolate cream. Place the second layer of cake on the cream and repeat the same steps with the second and third layers of cake. Frost the cake completely with chocolate cream.
  • Level the cream using a card on the sides and a spatula on the top of the cake. Add 2 to 3 tbsp of milk to the remaining ganache and pour it over the cake, letting it spread on all sides of the cake. Now spread the ganache uniformly on the sides of the cake with a spatula.
  • Fill the whipped cream into a basket nozzle and make a border on the top of the cake using it. Fill a star-shaped nozzle with cream and make bent strings on the sides of the cake to create a flower vase effect.
  • Take a piping bag and fill it with chocolate food gel on one corner of it using a skewer, and then fill it with cream and attach a star-shaped nozzle. Now make cream heaps on a flower nail using a basket nozzle and make flowers with a brown colour border on them using a star-shaped nozzle.
  • Repeat the process and place the flowers on the strings made on the cake using cream. Fill the chocolate ganache into the centres of the flowers. To complete the cake decoration, make leaves using chocolate cream by filling it in a piping bag and making a V-cut.
