Dhokla is a popular and traditional Indian recipe originating from Gujarat. One of the key issues that people face when steaming dhokla is that it gets stuck to the pan. When we take it out, the shape gets broken. Ecobake helps in getting perfect dhokla shape without any greasing and no need of cleaning afterwards.

  • Carrot - 1.5 kg
  • Sugar - 500 gram
  • Maida- 300 grams
  • Chiroti rawa- 4 tablespoon
  • Thick milk - 1 cup
  • Elaichi/cardamom
  • Pinch of salt
  • Ghee
  • Sunflower oil



  • Take a mixing jar and add maida, 4 tbsp chiroti rawa, salt, and 2 spoons of oil, add water and mix
  • Make the dough softer
  • Crush the carrot in the mixer grinder
  • Heat a pan and add 2 tbsp ghee, then add the grated carrot, add sugar and mix after 10 minutes
  • Add 3 to 4 spoons of chiroti Rawa and cardamom powder with the carrot mixture
  • Leave it a while for cool then make roundels from the carrot mixture and maida
  • Stuff the carrot inside the dough and roll it out
  • Take a sheet of Oddy Ecobake, place the dough on it, and press it gently with your hand then roll
  • Place the roll-out dough in the Tawa and cook till it becomes golden in color
