Ingredients

  • Milk - 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp & Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence - 1 tsp & Maida - 1 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp & Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Cocoa powder - 1 tbsp & Milk - 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 1/2 tsp + 1/2 tsp & Oddy Ecobake
  • Powdered sugar - 200 gm & Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
  • White chocolate - 1/2 cup & Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Melted dark chocolate - 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Red and green liquid food gel - few drops

Directions

  • Prepare the cake batter by mixing the wet and dry ingredients. Divide the cake batter into two bowls. To make chocolate cake batter, combine cocoa powder and flour in a mixing bowl.
  • Add eno and milk to the vanilla and chocolate cake batters and combine well. Transfer the cake batters to a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Separate the batters with the help of the Oddy Ecobake, as shown.
  • Remove the Oddy Ecobake from the centre and mix it with a toothpick. Bake the cake for 45 minutes in a preheated kadai. Beat the butter in a bowl with a whisk until it's light and fluffy. Refrigerate it for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Add finely powdered sugar and vanilla essence to the butter and beat it again to prepare the cream. Once the cake is baked and cooled, divide it into two equal parts.
  • Place the first layer of the cake, soak it with sugar syrup, and apply butter cream to it. Place the second layer of cake and repeat the same process, then frost the cake completely. To prepare the chocolate melt, melt white chocolate with hot milk.
  • Add chocolate ganache in the centre and pour it over the cake to create the marble effect. Make red rosettes with a petal nozzle and place them on the cake. Decorate the cake with golden sugar balls to complete it.
