Ingredients
- 4 tomatoes & mustard oil- 1 tbsp
- Ginger and green chilli
- Cumin seeds- 1 tsp & Asafoetida- 1/4 tsp
- Desiccated coconut- 3 tsp & Garam masala- 1 tsp
- Coriander powder- 2 tsp & Kashmir red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per taste & Kasuri Methi- 1 tsp
- Boiled potatoes- 1/2 kg & Oddy Ecobake Non Stick Liners
- Dry spices for potatoes- Salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and dry mango powder
Directions
- Boil tomatoes, ginger and green chilli to make a paste. In a kadhai, take some mustard oil then add in cumin seeds and asafoetida followed by desiccated coconut.
- Add in the prepared tomato paste and give it a mix. Now put in the dry spices like garam masala, coriander powder, Kashmir red chilli powder and salt as per taste.
- Add in some kasuri methi and roast the masala as shown. Add water as desired. Cover it with a lid and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- In a bowl, take the boiled potatoes and sprinkle in some mustard oil and season it with some spices like salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and dry mango powder. Give them a mix so that the coating of spices is done properly.
- Line the airfryer tray with Oddy Ecobake non-stick liners and spread the marinated potatoes on top of it. Preheat the airfryer oven for about 10 minutes at 185 degrees Celsius.
- Air Fry the potatoes for about 10 minutes. Add the airfryed potatoes to the gravy we have already prepared. Serve Dum Aloo with chapati.
