Do try this recipe to make crispy and tasty Bread Roll which can be served with tomato ketchup. Bread roll is a tasty Indian snack that can be made in a hurry if you have boiled potatoes. This bread roll can be served as a delicious evening snack or packed in tiffin for kids. Use Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles to pack them and store them.

Ingredients

 

  • Oil for deep frying
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp chilli (finely chopped)
  • 3 tbsp peas / matar and 3 tbsp sweet corn
  • 3 potato / aloo (boiled & mashed)
  • ¼ tsp turmeric and ½ tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala and ½ tsp aamchur / dry mango powder
  • ½ tsp salt and 3 tbsp panner / cottage cheese (grated)
  • 2 tbsp coriander (finely chopped)
  • 6 slice bread (white or brown)

Directions

 

  • In a large kadai, heat 3 oil and saute 1 onion until it changes colour. Then add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and 1 tsp chilli.
  • Then add 3 tbsp peas and 3 tbsp sweet corn. saute and cook until they are almost cooked. Further, add 3 boiled and mashed potatoes.
  • Then add the spices and mix well until the spices are well combined. Additionally, add 2 tbsp coriander and mix well. Allow to cool the stuffing completely.
  • Then take bread slices and cut the sides. Dip the bread slice into the water and squeeze off the excess water.
  • Make sure to squeeze the bread slice completely else it will absorb oil while deep frying.
  • Place the cylindrical shaped prepared stuffing and store it in layers using Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper circles.
  • Deep fry the prepared bread roll into the hot oil. make sure to fry in hot oil, else bread will turn soggy.
  • Your delicious bread rolls are ready to serve.
