Chaap Tikka Masala

About the Recipe

Soya chaap tikka masala is a substitute for paneer tikka masala or chicken tikka masala recipes. This is a true restaurant-style tikka masala recipe for anyone bored of paneer. The Ecobake cooking paper tray helps to make the chaap tikka in an air fryer with no need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • Chaap - 5 pieces, hung curd - 1/2 cup & besan - 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Ginger garclic paste, salt & red chillli powder
  • Garam masala & Dry mango powder
  • Kasuri methi & desi ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Mustard oil - 1 tbsp, bay leaf - 1 & chopped onion - 1
  • Green chillies, garam masala, turmeric & salt
  • Coriander powder, chicken msala, tomato puree & nutmeg - 1/4

Directions

 

  • Boil the chaap in water for 5 minutes and strain the water. Take hung curd and add besan, ginger garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, garam masala, dry mango powder, kasuri methi, and desi ghee to it.
  • Cut the chaaps into smaller pieces of 1 inch length and marinate them in the hung curd mixture. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add bay leaf, chopped onion, green chillies, garam masala, turmeric, salt, coriander powder, chicken masala, and tomato puree.
  • Grate nutmeg into the mixture and cook well. Take an Ecobake cooking paper tray and transfer the marinated chaaps to it. Place this Ecobake cooking paper tray in an air fryer and bake the chaap tikkas for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Later, add these cooked chap tikkas into the curry and let it boil. Your chaap tikka masala is now ready to eat. Pack this chaap tikka masala with rotis wrapped in Uniwraps paper foil for your tiffin box.
