Coconut Barfi

Perfect for Diwali or any other festive season, Nariyal barfi is everyone’s favorite and easy to make. Using simple and easily available ingredients you can make this recipe in very less time. Must try this recipe this festive season.

  • 1 Coconut
  • 100 gm Milk powder
  • 150 gm Sugar
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ¼ tsp cardamom Powder



  • Take a coconut and peel it as shown in the video, wash it properly and grind it in the mixer, which will be around 200 gm in weight.
  • Transfer the coconut mixer into a pan and add 100 gm of milk powder, mix them well first then start cooking it on low flame while stirring.
  • Now add 150 gm of sugar, mix it, and add ½ cup of milk. Keep cooking while stirring, add ¼ tsp of cardamom powder for the flavor.
  • Keep cooking it and stirring till all the milk is soaked by the mixture.
  • Now transfer the mixture into a mold or cake tin, lined with Oddy Ecobake cooking and baking paper, set it properly and garnish it with crushed dry fruits.
  • Let it set for 4-5 hours, then demold it and cut it into pieces, and your freshly made coconut barfi is ready to serve.
