Easy Spring Rolls recipe

Spring rolls are a popular snack option. It is basically crispy rolls filled with a savoury mixed vegetables stuffing. This yummy snack can be made with all kinds of veggies you have in your kitchen. Then pack them using Oddy Uniwraps paper foil and pack it for picnic or tiffin.

Ingredients

 

  • Maida 150 gm
  • Corn flour 150 gm and Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Water 475 ml or as required
  • Oil 3-4 tsp
  • Garlic 1/2 tsp
  • Onion 2 medium
  • Capsicum 2 medium
  • Green chilli 2
  • Boiled noodles or vermicelli 1 cup
  • Red chilli paste 2 tsp
  • Tomato sauce 1 tsp
  • Vinegar 1 tsp and Soya sauce 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste and Oil for frying
  • Chaat masala for sprinkle on top of rolls

Directions

 

  • In a mixing bowl - add maida, corn flour, salt, water and make lump-free flowy batter. Rest the batter for 10 min.
  • Pour the batter on medium hot tawa and spread evenly to make a thin sheet, but don't use any spatula. Now keep the flame on low to medium and take it out.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, onion, and capsicum. Saute it for a second. Add boiled noodles or vermicelli, add red chilli paste, tomato sauce, vinegar, soya sauce, salt and mix everything well.
  • Apply maida + water paste in the sides of roll sheets. Fill the prepared filling. Now fold the rolls using maida + water paste.
  • Fry the rolls on high flame until golden and crispy. Sprinkle some Chaat masala, wrap it in Oddy Uniwraps paper foil and enjoy with chilli sauce or tomato ketchup if you like.
