Ingredients

  • ¼ cup+1 tbsp milk (75 ml) & 1/3 cup curd / yogurt (80 gm)
  • ½ cup Powdered Sugar (90 gm) & ¼ cup Oil (60 ml)
  • 2 tbsp milk powder & 1 cup all purpose flour (130 gm)
  • 1 Tsp baking powder & 1/4 Tsp baking soda
  • 1 Cup + 2 tbsp whipping cream (250 ml)
  • ¾ Tsp cardamom powder & few drops yellow food colour
  • 5 medium sized rasgullas & Oddy Ecobake
  • Dry rose petals, chopped pistachio & silver vark

Directions

  • Add the wet ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Add the dry ingredients through a sieve to the same bowl. Mix them with wet ingredients to prepare the cake batter. Transfer the cake batter into a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake.
  • Bake the cake for 40 minutes in a preheated pan. Once the cake is baked and cooled, trim the top of the cake. Then divide the cake into three equal parts. Beat the whipping cream in a bowl until stiff peaks are formed.
  • Add a few drops of yellow food colouring to the whipped cream. Place the first cake layer on the cake board, soak it with sugar syrup, and apply whipped cream. Now repeat the same process for the second and third layers of the cake.
  • Frost the cake completely after crumb-coating it. Mark a few spots on the cake to decorate it with rasgullas. Make flower patterns on the marked spots. Place the rasgullas on the whipped cream as shown.
  • Melt chopped white chocolate with hot milk. Add a few drops of yellow food gel to the melted chocolate and mix well. Transfer it to a piping bag and apply it to the other half of the cake. Spread it evenly.
  • Make drips on the sides of the cake using chocolate melts as described. Decorate the rasgullas with chopped pistcahios and dried rose petals. Fill the gap between rasgullas with white flowers made using whipped cream.
