Moist Carrot Cake

About the Recipe

Today we’ll learn how to make a very healthy and delicious carrot cake using only a few basic ingredients. It is made without eggs, an oven, condensed milk, or cream. Oddy Ecobake Brown helps you get the perfect shape for your cake and also makes demolding easy.

Ingredients

 

  • Maida/all purpose flour- 1 cup + 2 tbsp
  • Carrot or gajar- 2 medium & Sugar- 1/2 cup
  • Milk- 1/2 cup + 1/4 cup & Unflavoured refined oil- 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence- 1/2 tsp & Baking powder- 1 tsp
  • Baking soda- 1/4 tsp & Vinegar- 1 tsp
  • Chocolate spread- 4 tbsp & Tutti frooti- 2 tbsp
  • Oddy Ecobake brown

Directions

 

  • Grate two carrots and keep them on a plate. Grind together the wet ingredients in a mixer jar and transfer the mixture to a bowl. Add the dry ingredients through a sieve to the bowl.
  • Whisk the dry and wet ingredients together to make the cake batter. Add the grated carrot to the cake batter and mix well. Transfer the cake batter to a mould lined with Oddy Ecobake brown.
  • Bake the cake for 40 minutes in a preheated kadai on the stove. Once the cake is baked and cooled, demold it and remove the Oddy Ecobake brown.
  • Apply chocolate spread to the cake and garnish it with tutti frutti. Your soft and moist carrot cake is ready!
