New Stuffed Vadapav With Red Chutney No Garlic

The new and unique style of Stuffed Vadapav is a special recipe. It looks and tastes delicious. Serve it with green and red chutney (no garlic). While baking the pav, use Oddy Ecobake to line the baking tray for hassle-free baking and no worries about cleaning. It is safe, easy, and reusable too.

Ingredients

 

  • For Dough: 1.5 tsp instant dry yeast, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp oil, 2 cups maida, lukewarm water as per requirement, Oddy Ecobake
  • For stuffing: 3 boiled potatoes, 2 tbsp ginger chili paste, salt to taste, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp dry mango powder, 1/2 tsp asafoetida, chopped coriander leaves
  • For Tadka in Stuffing: 1 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp urad da, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 7-8 curry leaves
  • For Dry Red Chutney: 5-6 dry red chilies, 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, 1/4 cup dry coconut powder, 2 tbsp sesame seeds, 2 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp mango (amchur) powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp roasted cumin powder, salt

Directions

 

  • For the dough: In a bowl take all the dough ingredients except maida. Mix them well till the sugar is dissolved.
  • Then add the maida and knead a dough. The dough doesn't have to be too soft or too hard. Knead a chapati-like dough using the required amount of lukewarm water. Allow the dough to rest for 1.5-2 hours.
  • For Stuffing: Mash the boiled potatoes, and add garlic-chili paste, salt, garam masala, amchur powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Now make a tadka with ingredients and pour it over the potato stuffing. Now mix everything well and keep aside.
  • For Dry Red Chuteny: Make a fine dry paste of the ingredients mentioned for chutney.
  • Take a baking tray and arrange it with Oddy Ecobake for easy baking. After two hours check the dough. Now dust the dough with dry flour and gently knead the dough again to remove excess air.
  • Now on a rolling pin, dust dry flour and roll a big oval-shaped chapati out of the flour. Now place the stuffing as shown in the video.
  • Roll the dough on the stuffing and on the remaining side, dough apply little water cut out straight lines with a knife, and roll the dough again on the cut stripes.
  • Likewise, prepare all the vada pav rolls and place them in a baking tray. Coat the rolls with melted butter and sprinkle white sesame seeds.
  • Now cover it with a cloth for 15-20 mins and in the meantime pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees. Now place the tray for 20 mins in the oven. Once done, apply another coat of melted butter for extra taste. Serve hot dry red chutney and green chutney.
