Pineapple Cake with a Beautiful Design

Do try this pineapple cake with a beautiful and simple design next time. Today we are going to make the cake with premix. Oddy Ecobake gives the perfect shape for your cake without greasing the mold with oil. It also aids in the easy demolding of the cake.

Ingredients

 

  • Vanilla cake premix - 180 gm, Water - 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp & Pineapple essence - 1/2 tsp
  • Pineapple crush - 3 tbsp + water - 1/2 cup
  • Chilled whipping cream - 1 cup & Pink food gel - 2 drops
  • Neutral gel - 1 tbsp + Water - 1 tbsp + White food gel - 2 drops
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Prepare cake batter by mixing cake premix with oil and water. Transfer the cake batter into a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake for 30 to 35 minutes in an oven at 160 degrees C.   
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, trim the top of the cake. Then divide the cake into three equal parts. Beat whipping cream in a bowl and beat it until stiff peaks are formed. Place the first cake layer on the cake board, soak it with pineapple syrup, and apply whipped cream and pineapple crush.    
  • Now repeat the same process for the second and third layers of the cake. Frost the cake completely with the pink cream and level it using a cake scraper and spatula. Make a swirl pattern on the cake sides using a cake comb. Make a swirl pattern on the top of the cake with a spatula as shown.   
  • Make a thick stripe on the cake using white cream. Make flowers on it using the 125 nozzle. Draw leaves on the sides of the flowers using a piping bag cut in a V-shape. Make drips on the sides of the cake with neutral gel and white gel mixed with water.
