  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder & 1 tbsp milk
  • 8-9 chocolate truffles balls

Directions

  • Take 130 gm of lukewarm milk, add to it 1 tsp active dry yeast & 2 & 1/2 tbsp powdered sugar. (sugar garnules can also be added, if you want extra sweet, then add 3 tbsp of sugar). Powdered sugar mixes well and fast.
  • In another bowl take 200 gms maida, add to it 1/4 salt or as per taste.
  • Then in the maida add the milk, yeast and sugar mixture. Kneed well into a very soft dough. After a dough is done, add to it 1.5 tsp room temperature butter and again kneed well till the butter is nicely mixed with the dough. Then divide the dough into two equal halves- one for chocolate flavour and one for vanilla flavour.
  • Next in a bowl take, 1 tbsp cocoa powder and 1 tbsp milk. Mix well until a smooth runny texture mix is formed. Then add one half of the dough and sprinkle 1 tbsp of maida. kneed it well so that the cocoa mixture is nicely mixed with the dough. Cover it will cling wrap and let it rest and rise for half hour.
  • After half hour, sprinke some maida and spread it out by hands and cut into equal 4-5 parts. Next take a baking tray and line it will oddy ecobake papers. It is safe and healthy to use while baking and cooking and prevents the buns from sticking at the base of the tray.
  • Now take some chocolate truffles balls and put them into the chocolate buns. Do the same for the other white dough. Place them in the tray, and sprinkle some powdered sugar on the buns. Cover with cling wrap and let it rest till it rises well and the buns look big in shape.
  • When you see the desired shapes, remove the cover and grease with milk. This gives a nice texture. After that again sprinkle some powdered sugar again. And bake the buns at 160 degrees for 20-25 mins. If oven is not available then you can bake it in kadhai as well. The final result will be the same. After baking the buns are ready to served.
