Spongy and Moist Hot Milk Chocolate Cake

  • 2 Eggs & 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 3/4 Cup powder sugar & 1/4 cup oil
  • 3/4 cup maida & 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 cup milk & 1 tbsp butter



  • Beat eggs, vanilla essence, and half of the powder sugar in a mixing bowl using an electric beater or hand whisk.
  • Once the mixture becomes frothy and creamy, add the remaining sugar and mix well. Add oil to the mixture and give it a good mix.
  • Sieve the dry ingredients into the bowl and mix everything well to prepare the cake batter. Melt butter in a pan and add milk to it and mix well.
  • Let it cool down for a minute, then add this hot milk to the cake batter and combine them well. Transfer this cake batter into a loaf tin lined with Ecobake cooking paper.
  • Bake the cake for 35 to 40 minutes in an oven at 170 degrees C. Once the cake is baked and cooled, cut it into pieces.
