Suji Cake with Just 4 Ingredients in a Saucepan

Try this suji cake in a pan with just 4 ingredients. You do not need an oven or baking soda to make this cake. Ecobake cooking paper helps in getting the perfect shape for your cake without any greasing, and it also helps to demould the cake easily without the need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • 1/3rd cup + 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup milk & 1 cup suji or chiroti rava
  • Green elaichi powder – ¼ tsp & Baking powder – 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp milk & Finely sliced almonds

Directions

 

  • Mix sugar and milk in a mixing bowl and add suji to it. Mix everything together to make the cake batter.
  • Close the lid and rest the batter for 20 minutes. Then whisk and mix the cake batter again after 20 minutes.
  • Add elaichi powder, baking powder and milk to the batter. Transfer the cake batter into a saucepan lined with Ecobake cooking paper.
  • Bake the cake for 35 minutes on low heat. Once the cake is baked and cooled, demould it and garnish it with chopped almonds.
