About the Recipe

Momos are a popular street dish of Northern India. These are dumplings made from flour with different types of stuffing. Momos are also called as dumplings. You can customize the filling of veggies according to your preference. Let’s try to make veg momos today. Ingredients

  • Grated carrots
  • 1 capsicum chopped
  • Onions chopped
  • 2 cups Wheat flour
  • Salt as required
  • Water as required
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic grated
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • ½ liter Milk
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce

Directions

  • Boil half liter milk and 2 tbsp vinegar. Let the water and milk particles separate from each other. Once done remove from heat and strain the mixture with a sieve. Add water and again sieve. Our panner is ready. In a bowl mix wheat flour, salt water and make a smooth dough
  • In a kadai add oil, ginger garlic grated, green chillies, grated carrots, panner, mix well and add soya sauce. Our momos filling is ready.
  • Take the dough and make small balls. Roll it into small chapati shape with the help of a rolling pin. Keep some momos filling in the chapati and seal as shown in the video.
  • Line the steamer with Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles. This will prevent the momos from sticking in the vessel. Also, Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles are eco-friendly and grease-proof
  • No need to grease the sheet as oddy ecobake is grease- proof. Place the momos and steam it for 5-10 mins. Serve hot with mayonnaise and tomato sauce.
