Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk powder and 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup dry fruits
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • Pinch of Saffron
  • 2 Tsp sugar and 1 Tsp ghee
  • 150 gm milk chocolate compound
  • Almond Sivers

Directions

  • In a non stick pan, mix all ingredients except the chocolate compound. First, mix them without lighting on the gas so that the ingredients do not stick to the surface immediately.
  • Once the ingredients seem to be mixed, switch on the gas and mix till the mixture starts leaving solids on the sides. Use a spatula to mix them evenly and keep stirring.
  • In a separate pan, put some water. Making a double boiler arrangement on the same, melt the dark chocolate compound in another bowl kept on it.
  • Line a baking tray with Oddy Ecobake Parchment paper and pour the batter in the tray. Spread evenly using a spatula.
  • Now pour the melted chocolate over this evenly spread base of barfi. Let the barfis set for a while after garnishing them with almond sivers.
  • Cut these into square shaped barfis. You can also pack the prepared barfis in a fancy gift box and gift them to your loved ones.
