Ingredients

  • Vanilla cake premix - 800 gm & Oil - 1/3rd cup
  • Water - 2 cups - 2 tbsp & Sugar syrup
  • Whipped cream - 3 cups & Magic red food gel
  • Sugar sprinkles, doll & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

  • Mix the vanilla cake premix with oil and water to prepare the cake batter. Transfer the cake batter into a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 165 degrees C.
  • Place a bowl on top of the cake and make a mark with it. Take a knife and make slanting cuts starting from the top to the bottom of the cake, as shown. Then divide the cake into five equal parts.
  • Beat the whipping cream in a bowl and beat it until stiff peaks are formed. Place the largest cake layer on the cake board and soak it with sugar syrup. Apply whipping cream and then butterscotch crush. Spread it uniformly with a spatula.
  • Now repeat the same process for the remaining layers of the cake. You can also use the slanting cake parts in between to frost the cake. Frost the cake completely with the cream and level it using a card and spatula.
  • Add the magic red food gel to the whipped cream. Make rosettes with a 1M nozzle and red cream, starting from the bottom of the cake. Fill the portion between the roses with stars using a small star-shaped nozzle.
  • Place the doll at the centre of the cake. Decorate the body of the doll with red cream using a small star-shaped nozzle. Garnish the cake with silver sprinkles on the rosettes. Your 2 kg 3D doll cake is complete!
