Anniversary Floating Cake Decoration

Ingredients

 

  • Cake premix - 2.5 cup, Oil - 2.5 tsbp & water
  • Cake premix - 2 cup, Oil - 2 tsbp & water
  • Blueberry crush, Whipped cream & Chocolate ganache
  • Sugar syrup, Rose emulsion & Oddy Ecobake
  • Edible silver, Silver sugar balls & silver spray

Directions

 

  • Prepare the cake batter by mixing the cake premix with oil, vanilla essence, and water. Similarly, prepare the chocolate cake batter with chocolate cake premix, oil, and water. Transfer the cake batters to cake moulds lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cakes for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 °C.
  • Once the cakes are baked and cooled, divide them into three equal parts. Place the first vanilla cake layer on the board, soak it with blueberry crush syrup, and apply whipped cream on it. Apply the blueberry crush over the cream and spread it evenly.
  • Place the second and third layers of cake and repeat the same process. After crumb-coating the cake, frost it completely with the whipped cream. Similarly, frost the chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and whipped cream as shown.
  • Apply a few drops of rose emulsion on both cakes and gently spread it all over the cake with a cake scraper. Apply and spread the rose emulsion on the top of the chocolate cake and make a pattern as shown.
  • Make pearls at the bottom of the cake with whipped cream. Take a floating cake stand and arrange roses at the bottom of it. Decorate the bottom of the vanilla cake with a gold lace. Insert the bamboo dowels in the cake as described.
  • Set the Oddy Ecobake on the cake and place the floating cake stand on it. Decorate both cakes with silver ball toppers, edible silver, and sugar balls as shown.
  • Add the rose emulsion to the whipped cream and mix well. Transfer this pink cream to a piping bag with an R-11 nozzle. Make rosettes on the top of the chocolate cake. Set the cakes using the floating stand.
