Baigan Ka Bharta Using an Air Fryer

The major ingredient of baingan bharta is spice-cooked, fire-roasted eggplant mash. With rotis or rice, they taste the finest. With the aid of Oddy Ecobake Non-stick Liners, we’ll be learning today how to roast egg plants in an air fryer. By doing this, you can stop the air fryer from absorbing moisture from the eggplants.

Ingredients

 

  • Egg plants - 2, Garlic pods, Oil, Hinge, jeera & Bay leaf
  • Chopped onions - 2 & Grated ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Green chillies - 2 to 3 & tomatoes - 2 to 3
  • Turmeric powder, Red chilli powder & Salt
  • Coriander leaves & Oddy Ecobake Non-stick Liner

Directions

 

  • Take two egg plants, make cuts on them using a knife, and insert a few garlic pods into those cuts.
  • Apply mustard oil to the eggplants and fry them in an air fryer lined with Oddy Ecobake Non-stick Liner for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • In the meantime, heat oil in a kadai, add cumin, hing, and bay leaf, and sauté well along with chopped onions.
  • Add the tomatoes, grated ginger, and the mentioned masalas to the kadai and mix well. Cook until they turn aromatic.
  • Take the eggplants out of the air fryer, remove the skin, and mash them with a masher.
  • Add the mashed eggplant to the kadai and mix well. Cook until the oil starts separating.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and switch off the stove. Your baigan ka bharta is ready!
