Budget Friendly Designer New Year Cake With Chocolate Ganache

This budget-friendly designer chocolate cake recipe is tasty, soft and yummy. It is eggless and made from easily available ingredients. For baking cake, use Oddy Ecobake in the cake tin. It helps in the easy removal of cake and is heat-resistant, and grease free.

Ingredients

 

  • 1/2 tsp instant coffee powder, 2 tbsp hot water
  • Oddy Ecobake, 3 tbsp fresh curd, 3 tbsp milk
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp powdered sugar, 2 tbsp oil,
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla essence, 1/2 cup maida,
  • 1 tbsp milk powder, 2 tbsp cocoa powder,
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/8 tsp baking soda, pinch of salt.
  • 1/3 cup chopped chocolate, 1/3 cup whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup chilled whipping cream, sugar syrup (3 tbsp sugar + 1/2 cup water)
  • yellow gel color, Noor N11 nozzle, green gel color, silver sugar balls

Directions

 

  • In a bowl, take instant coffee powder and mix with hot water. Mix well and keep aside.
  • In the meantime, line cake tin with Oddy Ecobake and place a deep bottomed pan with a stand and preheat it for 10-20 mins.
  • In another mixing bowl take fresh curd, and milk. Add powdered sugar. Mix well.
  • Add oil, Vanilla essence and the coffee mixture. Whisk well. Place a sieve and add maida, milk powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
  • Whisk well till a lumpfree ribbon consistency is formed. Then pour the batter in cake tin and bake it for for 30-35 mins on low flame. In oven bake it for 30 mins at 160-degree temperature.
  • Once done, allow it to cool Cut the cake into three layers. To prepare chocolate ganache, take chopped chocolate, whipping cream. Melt and mix it well till a shiny consistency.
  • For frosting, take chilled whipping cream and whip it well. Now spread a little cream on cake board. Place one layer of cake, coat it with sugar syrup. Add a layer of cream and chocolate ganache.
  • Repeat the steps and complete the cake along with crumb coating and frosting. Now in a bowl take whipped cream and add a one drop of yellow gel color and mix.
  • Put the yellow cream into piping bag. Take rose nail, and using Noor N11, make 3-4 roses. Place the roses in the centre of cake in a straight line.
  • With green whipped cream make leaves near the roses. Pour chocolate ganache on half of the cake giving a drip effect. Place silver sugar balls on the white half of the cake. On the bottom make small design on the white side of the cake. Cake is ready.
