Directions
- Mix the milk with the vinegar and let it rest for 10 minutes to make butter milk. Line a baking pan with Oddy Ecobake. Cover and preheat a cooker with a wire stand for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, oil, and butterscotch essence to the buttermilk and mix well. Then add the sifted dry ingredients to it and whisk well (without lumps) to form a smooth batter.
- Transfer the batter into the baking pan, tap well, cover, and bake for 40–45 minutes on a low flame. You can also bake the cake in an oven for 40–45 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Check with a toothpick if the cake has baked. A clean toothpick means a perfectly baked cake.
- Divide the cake into three layers. Melt sugar in a pan, then add butter and chopped almonds to it and mix well to make praline. Spread it on the butter-greased plate and cool completely.
- Then break it into small pieces, crush them well, and take them into a bowl. Melt sugar in a pan until it caramelizes. Add fresh cream to it and mix well. Switch off the flame and add butter to it to make caramel butter sauce.
- Now beat the whipping cream in a bowl, adding vanilla essence and yellow food coloring, until stiff peaks form, and transfer it to a piping bag. Place a layer of cake on top of whipping cream on a cake board, then soak it with sugar syrup and apply cream, caramel butter sauce, and praline to it.
